The creation of 1875 FINANCE arose from the shared experience of its founders in the same bank. It is based on an unshakeable team spirit that guarantees comprehensive consistency and shared responsibility in its strategic choices and advice to clients.

Wolfgang Klien

Wolfgang Klien received a master’s degree from St. Gallen University (HSG), followed by a PhD from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. In 1994, he began his career in management consulting with a focus on private banking and asset management. In 2000, he was involved in major projects of Helvetia, and later moved to the bank Vontobel where he headed its Banking Products and Services department. In parallel, he completed postgraduate studies in International Wealth Management and was awarded an MBA from the University of Geneva and an EMBA from Carnegie Mellon. He spent the next 10 years at Julius Baer, initially at its asset management company GAM, and later within its private bank as a Senior Client Advisor.

In 2017, he joined 1875 FINANCE, where he continues to assist his clients and to develop the Zurich office.

Martin Krause

Martin Krause completed his higher education in Hamburg in Banking and Finance. He started his professional career with Deutsche Bank in Hamburg and Munich as Investment Advisor in 1990, as next step in his career, Martin moved to Merrill Lynch International Bank Ltd. in Hamburg in Private Banking in 1993. After three years, he became the offer to work for Merrill Lynch Bank (Switzerland) Ltd. in Zurich as First Vice President responsible for private and corporate clients. In 2013, Merrill Lynch Bank (Switzerland) Ltd. has been acquired by Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. Since then Martin was in charge for wealthy private and corporate clients at Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd with a client book by himself in over 25 years in Private Banking.

Martin left Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. by end of April 2019 and joined 1875 FINANCE in Zurich as Senior Relationship Manager.

Burcu Minas Balta

Burcu Minas Balta started her financial career in 2001 as a Relationship Manager at Credit Suisse, with a strong focus on the Turkish Market. She provided bespoke services and advice to Ultra High Net Worth Individuals across all areas of their wealth. Burcu has a holistic approach to service the specific needs of clients, especially in Asset Management and Investment Banking.

After 18 years in Private Banking she joined 1875 FINANCE to continue to cater all wealth management needs of individuals, families and their financial affairs.

Managing Director - Private Clients, Head of Zurich Office

Filippo Taddei

Filippo Taddei is a trained lawyer and holds a PhD in law. He began his career in 2000 at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co in New York. He went on to work in the Mergers & Acquisitions and in the Banking & Finance departments of VISCHER Ltd. in Zurich, a leading Swiss law firm, until 2004. He then joined Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. in Zurich in 2005 as Managing Director in the area of Mergers & Acquisitions, before moving to the Private Banking department in 2007 to work in asset management. In 2014, he became a member of the Executive Committee for Switzerland.

In November 2016, he left Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. to join 1875 FINANCE Zurich as Managing Director and head of the Zurich office.

Jasmin Woertz

Jasmin Woertz began her career in 2004 at UBS SA, where she completed a traineeship. She subsequently worked as an assistant in the HNWI department. She then joined Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. in 2008, where she worked as an assistant in the Swiss private clients business. In 2012, she became a junior relationship manager for private clients after obtaining her license as a CFP. Three years later she joined Basler Kantonalbank as an asset manager.

In 2016, she left the bank to join 1875 FINANCE.
