Jacques-Antoine Ormond
Jacques-Antoine Ormond began his financial career in 1999 at Ferrier Lullin & Cie. Following a move to UBS Warburg and GAM in London, he returned to the Swiss operations of Ferrier Lullin in Geneva in 2001 as a relationship manager. In 2004, he obtained his licence as a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) and was appointed as member of to the Executive Board.
He left the bank in 2006 to co-found 1875 FINANCE. In 2011, he was named a Senior Partner.

Paul Kohler
Paul Kohler began his financial career in 1991 at ELF Trading (formerly Total) in Geneva as assistant to the CFO and controller of crude oil and refined product trading. In 1993, he moved to Paribas (Suisse) SA in Geneva to focus on managing private clients, and was later appointed as a member of Management in 1998.
In 2001, he joined Ferrier Lullin & Cie, a member of the UBS Group, to lead the Swiss management group. In 2005, before the sale of Ferrier Lullin to Julius Baer, he was appointed Managing Director.
In 2006, he left the bank to co-found 1875 FINANCE SA along with Olivier Bizon, Aksel Azrac and the Ormond family member François-Michel Ormond and Jacques-Antoine Ormond.
Paul Kohler currently serves as CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of 1875 FINANCE.

Loïc Schmid
Loïc Schmid began his career in the institutional management team of Lombard Odier in Geneva and Zurich in 2001. In 2006, he joined the newly created bank Bénédict Hentsch as a senior portfolio manager. He held various positions and played an important role in the development of the bank, including the establishment of centralised management, the creation and management of funds, proprietary trading and strategic development. An entrepreneur at heart, he left the bank in 2012 to co-found the financial media platform investir.ch, which rapidly became a leading website for the Swiss financial markets, and also to co-founded the group of economists Les Econoclastes. In 2014, he was hired as Head of Portfolio Management at Sequoia Asset Management. In 2015, he was appointed CIO and a member of Management at GS BANQUE SA.
He left the bank in August 2017 to join 1875 FINANCE as CIO and member of the management team.

Andrea Barenghi
Andrea Barenghi began his career in 1984 at De La Rue Giori S.A., where he specialised in banknote creation and the sale of production equipment to various governments. In 1995, he joined Banque du Crédit Agricole Suisse S.A. where he was in charge of bond market-making, forex and as macro-economic analyst on equity markets, interest and exchange rates. In 1999, he joined the newly created Banque Syz and contributed his expertise on client development and the management of dedicated portfolios for wealthy families and Family Offices.
He left Banque Syz in 2015 to join 1875 FINANCE.

Jørn Tilsted Christensen
Jørn Tilsted began his career in 1987 with a regional bank in Denmark. Moving to Luxembourg in 1996 joining a Danish banks located in Luxembourg. Becoming a Certified International Investment Analyst ( CIIA ) in 2004.
Managing and developing a portfolio of Danish and Nordic clients for more than 20 Years in various banks, ( Dexia BIL, Nordea and final UBS ) joined the 1875 FINANCE in 2019.

Roland Ruttimann
Roland Ruttimann began his career in 1998 in the trading department of Cantrade Ormond Burrus Banque Privée S.A. After moving to Cantrade Banque Privée S.A. in Zurich to work in third-party fund selection, in 2002 he joined Ferrier Lullin in Geneva as a portfolio manager. In 2001, he obtained his federal diploma as a Financial Analyst as well as an IAF diploma as Investment Fund Advisor, subsequently becoming licensed as a Federal Expert in Finance and Investment (CFPI) in 2003. He was then put in charge of special clients and HNWIs for the Swiss market management team.
In 2006, he left the bank to set up portfolio management for 1875 FINANCE.

Sally Wortelboer
Sally Wortelboer began her career in 1983 as a trader in financial futures, options, precious metals and commodities for brokerage houses including REFCO and Rudolf Wolff. In 1989, she joined UNCTAD as a commodity advisor and worked in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. She worked with MKS Finance between 1990 and 1998 in spot trading on precious metals and currencies, also running the EFP book (exchange for physical). Between 1998 and 2001 she was as a Vice-President within the Manager Selection Service at Pictet &Cie, specialising on hedge fund due diligence and portfolio allocation for the fund of funds as well as advising clients. From 2007 to 2015, Sally worked as an independent representative and investment advisor on various mandates for trading companies and banks.
In June 2015, she joined 1875 FINANCE as a Senior Investment Advisor.

Louis Soots
After graduating from its Master in Financial Engineering and Risk Management at HEC Lausanne, Louis Soots started his financial career as intern in hedge funds selection with Sequoia Asset Management. He then evolved within the company as cross asset investment advisor. Louis also worked as Investment Advisor with Bedrock Group in Geneva.
In May 2018, he joined the Asset Management division for private client at 1875 FINANCE as Investment Advisor.

Jean-Alexandre Mery
While studying for his master’s degree in finance, which he was awarded in 2010 by the Audencia Nantes School of Management, Jean-Alexandre Mery completed a one-year internship in risk management at Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt, and was subsequently involved in the development of a start-up specialised in crowdfunding based at the Innovation Park in Lausanne.
Upon graduating, he worked for J.P. Morgan (Private Bank) in Geneva as a middle office analyst, subsequently joining 1875 FINANCE a few years later in the asset management division for private clients. Jean-Alexandre is also a CFA holder.

Fabian Schurter
After receiving his master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Fabian Schurter began his career in wealth management for Credit Suisse in Zurich. Following a completed traineeship within the investment management and equity research departments, he worked as a Portfolio Manager for discretionary multi-asset class mandates. Fabian is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
In August 2022, he joined the asset management division of 1875 Finance as Portfolio Manager.

Rafael da Silva
Rafaël Da Silva began his studies in Nice in 2013 in “Bachelor of Economics and Management”.
To complete his “Master in International Banking and Finance” at ISEM, which he started in 2017, he completed a 6-month internship at 1875 FINANCE in Geneva and joined the Asset Management team as an assistant.
At the end of this period, he joined 1875 FINANCE (Luxembourg) SA as Portfolio Manager.
